We are now inviting postgraduate research students to submit abstract for oral and poster presentations. Topics of interests for submission include, but are not limited to the following:
Corpus Linguistics & Language Resource Construction Computational Linguistics & Natural Language Processing Digital Humanities Cognitive Processing & Neuro-/psycho-linguistics Studies on Low-resource and Endangered Languages Studies based on Data Analytics involving any of the following and/or other fields: Large Language Model, Language Acquisition, Language Variations, Emotion, Metaphor, Translation and Interpreting, Conversation Analysis etc.Submission Link

The working language of PRSLA(2023) is English. Prospective authors are invited to submit abstract for presentation in any of the areas listed above. All abstracts will be handled and reviewed electronically.
- Please DO NOT include your full name, affiliated institution, email address, and postal address in the abstract.
- Abstracts should be written in English with a maximum of 400 words, excluding references.
- All abstracts will undergo double-blind peer-review. Your abstract should give audiences an indication of what to expect from your presentation. It should include the purpose of your presentation, a description of your research, your methodology, the implication and significance of your research, and an indication of your findings (if any).
- The following fonts may be used: 12-point Times New Roman or 11-point Arial. Please also use double-space formatting for the abstract.
The deadline of abstract submission is 25 November 2023.The acceptance of presentation will be announced by 28 November, 2023. Registration and attendance information will be available in the letter of acceptance.
Publication
We are going to prepare a programme book for all the accepted abstracts. All participants will have an electronic copy of the programme book.
We invite all the presenters to submit their Full Papers after the symposium (within one week). Please note that the full papers are expected to be 4-5 pages. A template file will be provided soon after the symposium. All received full papers will be peer-reviewed and published in our post-symposium proceedings.
We are happy to announce that the most valuable submissions (if a high-quality presentation is given) will be selected and awarded the Best Paper Award (the quota depends on the number of received paper). We will recommend the Full Paper of the awardees to the proceeding of PACLIC2023 for publication (pending submitting the full paper within one week after the symposium). It should be noted that the papers will undergo the regular reviewing process.
